ok.. my boyfriend and i had unprotected sex about 3 days after i had my period. Only a few days after, i started feeling like i was ovulating but it is too early for that. I have this feeling nonstop and now i have back pain. I know i am extremely paranoid about this subject but i just got into nursing school. nurse I love my boyfriend but we are NOT ready for this responsibility. (if i come out not pregnant you can guarantee we will be protected or not do it at all) I am not due for my period until November 28th. I know it is a while but i cant help but worry. Can someone tell me if feeling like your ovulating this early is a sign of maybe being pregnant?

thank,
Jen

That is quite early for ovulation. I don't think you would be pregnant.

You can always use a pregnancy test for peace of mind.

As long as its not preaching me and its trying to help the situation...then yeah you can ask.
Oh, I tried a pregnancy test not yesterday but the day before to help my state of mind. It said negative, but then again it is really too early to take one of those.

Way too early for a pregnancy test, you need to wait at least two weeks after sex.

How long have you been feeling like you're ovulating? And what are you feeling? I've never really heard of lower back pain that's normally associated with ovulation and its way too early for pregnancy symptoms like lower bain pain.

Hi Sweetie! Me Fairy*Godmother
I just want to say I am very proud of you for going into nursing school! I just took my Mothers license away at 70, she's been an RN long enough. I hope everything turns out well for you!

I wouldn't think too much about it right now.

While I'm sure you know your body very well, these symptoms can be caused by a lot of things-- and are kind of odd for ovulation signs. It's hard to understand when you are ovulating unless you've been tracking it through kits and temping.

If you have a fairly regular period, then its really unlikely you'd be ovulating so soon.

Have you thought about birth control pills? If you normally feel like this during ovulation then I'm sure it can help.

Hi there
Im not sure about the ovulation signs you've been experiencing. I do know that i got pregnant THE DAY AFTER my period finished. I know this because i had a 1 night stand, and it was the only time i had sex with anyone in months. The doctor i went to told me i was wrong and it was extremely unlikely that i got pregnant the day after my period finished. Which really annoyed me, because that was the ONLY time i had intercourse with anyone!! So you can defenitely get pregnant 3 days after you've finished your period. I should know, it happened to me the day after my period had finished.
