I was having horrible cramps and called my sister and she said she thinks I might have an etomic pregnancy and told me to go to the hospital.
I am beyond completely frustrated. The doctor finally just came in and was talking about my legs said that the blood test they took to check my electrolytes came back normal... He prescribed me flexural to help the muscles relax. Then starts to tell me he'll have a nurse come by to take my IV out and give me my discharge papers. I went back to the room at 11:15pm at this time it was a little past 5:30am(They took three viles of blood & a pee sample from before I had gone to the room) so I stopped him and was like wait am I pregnant or not?! He acted surprised, left the room for two mins, came back and said no I'm not. Then I was like okay we'll what's causing all these symptoms then and handed him the list I had wrote everything down on and he read it (acted like this was the first he had herd of any of anything other then my leg cramps) and said ''well could all be pregnancy symptoms, when are you expecting your next menstration?" I told him the 17th and he was like 'it just might be to soon to tell" and started rambling about the HCG hormone levels & how long it takes to show up. So I stopped him and I was like I know that's why I asked for the blood test. He looked at my file and proceeded to tell me that the only blood tests the ER nurse sent forwere a CMP (complete metabolic panel), Lipase, and a type&screen. tHE NURSE DIDN'T EVEN SEND FOR THE BLOOD PREGNANCY TEST!!!!!?!?!!!! what! Then he just started getting short and rude and told me that I need to follow up with the OSU clinic to handle all my other issues & that's what family doctors are for & that they are only there to handle emergency situations!!! Freaking ahole won't even give me a chance to ask what could be wrong with my left boob! I started crying and he just left the room! I just broke down. It's so frustrating. Then five mins later a nurse came in to give me my script and discharge me. No one ever gave me the chance to even fully explain why I was there in the first place. Each nurse I talked to just kept telling me I'd get a chance to talk with a doctor and I barely saw him for three minutes! They never even cared to check my boob or my stomach to figure out why I was cramping so badly today. So I just spent 5 1/2 hours in there for no reason other then to get given stupid pain pills (that im scared to take) and to find out I'm an A negative blood type. And to top it all off I can't even
go to the clinic they told me to follow up at bcuz it's the same one tht told me before I have to apply for Medicare and bring in a letter saying my request was denied. I've applied three times since I last went to the hospital and I've still not received a denial or acceptance letter! They didn't give a crap about why I was actually there. I'm about to rip my hair out I'm so mad! Why couldnt they have at least done a blood prego test?!? Anyway I'm home now with no answer to any questions I had.
And on top of all that the reason I went in was to make sure I'm not having an actomic pregnancy they didn't give a darn about it & I'm still terrified that's what's happening to me. What am I supposed to do if a hospital won't even help me figure out what's wrong?!
I found a web site that has charts of what you hcg should be.. It starts at three weeks. If I'm prego I can't even be two weeks yet so now I feel like finding a doctor would be pointless until I'm at least three weeks
Guideline to hCG levels during pregnancy:
hCG levels in weeks from LMP (gestational age)* :
3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml
4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml
5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
13 - 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
17 - 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
25 - 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
Non-pregnant females: <5.0 mIU/ml
Postmenopausal females: <9.5 mIU/ml
* These numbers are just a GUIDELINE-- every womanâs level of hCG can rise differently. It is not necessarily the level that matters but rather the change in the level.

I feel so helpless in this situation
