My last menstrual cycle was 13 weeks ago. I spotted for 2 days at the beginning of the month and about a month and a half ago I vomited though I haven't since I was a child, I haven't vomited since but I have felt nauseous and more so if I haven't eaten though it hasn't been triggered by anything. My boyfriend and I just started having sex in the beginning of February and before that I hadn't had sex for a few months. I'm 24 years old and have had irregular periods a lot but over the past few months they started to regulate. Am I pregnant or are my hormones out of whack again?
Welcome to ehealthforum,
The symptoms that you describe could be suggestive of pregnancy possibility. If your periods have been regular, it would suggest regular and periodic ovulation. If you had been sexually active during ovulation time, chances of pregnancy are possible. Look out for development of any other new symptoms if pregnancy is suspected. If you suspect chances of pregnancy, consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for thorough examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet.
