Q: am i in slow labour

hi i'm new on here i feel stupid posting this question but for the last i don't know how many weeks i've been getting period like pains in my stomach and constant nagging back ache. i mentioned this to m/w but she said it was normal so now i don't want to bother her, last night i had a spicy chinese glass of red wine and acupressure on my foot about 3 hours later i started feeling sick and had diarhea for an hour with terrible pains that kept coming and going for the lenghth of time i had the no 2 and now today i've got more discharge than normal and getting cramping pains in stomach and i can also feel bubs pushing down all the time,
Sorry to ramble on hope someone can give me some advice thanks
mum of 3 and 38 and a half weeks preggo and had all others induced my last child i had 8 years ago so this is all new to me.

are the cramps regular? I had contractions that felt like a period cramp every 5 minutes for 48 hrs. This was my pre-labor stage. Actual labor was the same just more painful. I didnt start getting contractions 2-3 mins apart until my water broke...2 hrs befire he was born

so yes you probably are in the beginnings of labor. Once they are regular and increase with frequency and pain...then that means you are getting down to business.

the baby and your body are the only ones to know for sure though
