Could I just be a 50 year-old simply going through menopause with pregnancy symptoms? My tubes were tied, clipped and burnt 19 years ago. Now, I've missed 2 periods and recently had a brown flush of a discharge one day. I did the home pregnancy test and it showed not pregnant. I can't wait for my doctor appointment next week! My stomach appears as if I'm at least 3 months pregnant. Could I possibly be pregnant?

Welcome to ehealthforum,
It is difficult to comment on the symptoms that you describe and distinguish between pregnancy and menopause without examining you and going ahead with further evaluation. Visit your doctor/gynecologist for further evaluation. Further investigations like hormonal & blood work-up along with ultrasound scan done will help to identify the underlying cause in correlation with your symptoms and examination findings. Treatment as appropriate (based on examination results and investigation results) would be started to help you control the symptoms. Be in regular follow-up & monitoring of your treating doctor/gynecologist. Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet.
