always sleeping wife with mood swings

need advice, my wife goes to bed at 8pm every night and get up around 7am. When she wakes she is miserable and complains of always being tired. She also seems to have become more and more verbally abusive and down right mean to me and our 18 month old daughter. She has always been a sleeper but its getting worse and i am getting concerned with her short temper and aggressive behavior? any ideas what is going on with her?

Run down!
Does she take a multi vitamin? They make such an incredible difference when feeling a bit run down

Classic sleep disorder
My wife had the same problem but it was the other way around. My sleep disorders were creating the same issues in our house.

All of the issues and scenarios that you relate to me are classic sleep disorder dysfunctions.

My suggestion is that you discuss is of your family doctor immediately ask for referral to a sleep disorder specialist. One overnight stay at a sleep center most likely will provide you with the answers to your questions.
