Q: Always need to urinate
asked by: MrOli on May 17th, 2009

I always needs to go to the toilet to urinate.

Its been happening since I can remember, buts its starting to get really annoying!

I will have to go directly before I go to sleep, it wakes me up in the morning so I have to try and get as much time to sleep before I was up bursting to pee, I have
to go all through the day, it seems to be when I drink anything it will only take
around 10 minutes to pass straight through me! And its like I am bursting to go
instantly! No one else I know seems to have this problem

I read on some websites that back pain could be related - I do get a bad back but
It is because I am quite tall and not made for this small peoples world! I am fit
and healthy, my body is pretty much in perfect working order for a 24 year old male!

I am going to a music festival soon, previously because of my problem I have had to
barge through the crowds to get to the toilets because I am bursting, I don't want this to happen again!

If it is to do with diabetes I really don't want to go to the drs because I hate needles and injections! Wimpy I know but thats the way it is!

If anyone has any advice or can give a bit of a insight or way to help please
let me know!

Thanks

Oli

I can help. i think you are not getting enough minerals in your system if this is the case you will eventually have health issues. the best way to gain minerals is least processed. Go to a good health food store
(not the supermarkets etc)and see if you can get himalayan salt, look up sole salts, unprocessed natural salts, & a good educational site is ithyroid.com , this will explain the minerals. The right salts will have 84 minerals use it on your food & in your fluids & hydrate with good filtered water & one more thing, research alkalizing. ill help you further if you need.

You really should go to the doctor and make sure everything's okay. At the very least, if you have an over-active bladder, you can get medication for it.

Also, at 24, you should see the doctor regularly anyway. Yes, I know you're a young guy and think nothing can ever go wrong, but that thinking needs to stop if you want to live a long and healthy life. You don't have to get a shot every time you go to the doctor, so don't use that as an excuse.

Besides, when something *is* wrong with you, the sicker you let yourself get, the more needles there will be. Think about that.

And I disagree that changing your type of salt is the answer to your problem. But if you do decide to go that route, just make sure they are salts that are for consumption, not soaking or laxative types.

you know what salt & the correct hydration can do for your health? next time you visit the hospital & have an i v put in take notice of the fluid it's saline solution. I had doctors, three who said they could not treat my condition, they advised me to try alternative therapies so i did, My disbalance is gone, so is my asthma, my nasal polyps, i was over weight i lost 10 kgs without any extra exercise other than house duties, MY BLOOD PRESSURE went from 150/80 to 122/64, i am in my fourties & have been suffering with cfs for near 15 yrs & you know what the treatment was??!! salt water hydration & mineral therapy !
I suggest people should do there own research before shooting themselves in the foot. Medications can be toxic to our systems & there is no reason for him to not try this if he studies it he will learn if he is doing right because his health will improve, I have a friend that is sick who had to get out of bed sometimes 10 times a night, which meant she wasnt getting a deep sleep now she sleeps right through & her health is improving.
If you dissagree about salt therapy why don't you put forward a better solution or at least say why. There are plenty of people willing to take another person down for a dollar but hardly anyone willing to help for free.

Thank you all for your help, I will look into all of your suggestions and ideas and see what is the best route for me

Yeah I know I will have to go to the drs eventually, from my personal experience they
have been pretty useless, well less than useless - more dangerous! A couple of years ago I had an accident and injured my head, i was kept in the hospital over night, went to the doctors the next day and told him something was up he checked me out & told me to rest, it wasn't until I passed out and got taken back to hospital that they told me that I had fractured my skull, broken my neck, and had a blood clot in my brain! And this isn't the first time they have got things wrong for me or my family! Maybe I'm just unlucky but I have little faith in medicine!

I think my body is an amazing thing, it has been through alot and i feel it is in pretty good working order, maybe it will be my downfall but I like to think that I know when something major is up, up until now I have

Thanks again

Oli

I wasn't telling him not to try salt, I was just saying that I doubted that it would work. It's his choice.

Yes, they do give IV saline. Saline is a way to hydrate people without depleting electrolytes. You ever been on an IV? You have to pee like every half hour. They also give IV glucose, but that doesn't mean that sugar is the answer either.

And if you don't trust the medicine doctors give, why do you trust that the saline IV is good for you? Also, why are you talking about cholesterol all of the sudden?

As for doctors being useless, I totally agree. Personally, I have also had some really bad experiences. One nurse practitioner missed a warning sign for thyroid cancer (thank goodness it was slow-growing). More recently, a doctor mistook my pneumonia with pleurisy for gallbladder problems and he was ready to send me to a surgeon! Luckily for me, there were two *other* doctors, who knew what they were doing, that listened to me and gave me the correct diagnosis.

The answer is not to avoid doctors altogether, it's to avoid the bad ones. I know that isn't always easy, especially in a hospital when you have no choice. They are only human and they make mistakes like everyone else. The true mistake is to trust them implicitly and take their word as gospel. Never be afraid to question them and make them explain things. They may not like it, but too bad. They work for you, not the other way around.

I hope you find a solution to your problem. If the salt works, my apologies.

why don't you do the two following things; read what ive written & go look at some more of my posts these are my self treaded results & if you decide that you don't know everything as is the same for me you will realise by doing some research for yourself that salts are crucial for the support of life this is about taking our lives back into our control & yes the salt has worked Go read some of my posts & don't allow society to brainwas you into believing natural salt is bad. they say this because it can't be paitented or marketed to puff up there fat wallets through selfishness.

You shouldn't take it so personally when someone disagrees with you. I never said natural salt is bad or that he shouldn't try it to help his problem. I just have doubts, is all. If I'm supposed to not let society brainwash me, then the same goes for you.

Do you have any sources to back up your claims besides your own anecdotal evidence? I'm not trying to attack you. If you give me the sources, I'll look at them.

society has not brainwashed me, i have done the research and applied it to my health situation I have studied this for over two years & i'm telling you the results & yet it eems you still don't want to know about it, all the info is there, if you want to search for your self & others too but if not, it is not my loss. In fact i have gained the benefits big time however i do care enough to share it with other people & when they learn they find the same results as i have I just don't believe people have a right to discourage anyone else from learning something for themselves without first having knowlege of what they're talking about!
God Bless You.

In my opinion, her answer is as right as yours is...You are so sure that you know the answer and so does she...I would say contact the doctor and go along with what MyrahU is saying before you jump into your idea that is unfounded...These are your words without offering any proof...

Seeing that you are not a doctor and unable to back up your statement...Just cool it....
