Q: Alternative to nexium ?

i was diagnosed with a sliding hiatus hernia 3 months ago and prescribed nexium. the side effects are awful, nausea, headache, dry mouth and stomache pain. do you no of any alternative medication for sliding hiatus hernia.

You may ask your physician to get prescription for drug from other commonly used group of drugs, like antacids and H-2 blockers.
When medications and lifestyle changes fail to relieve severe reflux symptoms, surgery is taken in consideration.
