My husband of 26 years is having a problem. Can Viagra help? He won’t go see a doctor. He is pretty healthy at 49 yrs old. He quit smoking about 7 years ago. He is a little overweight. He is very active and loves his job, so not a lot of stress. But he can’t cum sometimes and will get too tired to finish. We flirt all the time and love to be together but sex is so disappointing, we just don’t bother with it other than once every few weeks and then he may or not finish.

Should he even be trying to order Viagra without seeing a doctor? Is it dangerous? Does Viagra or Cialis (the daily use type) work all the time? Does INS pay for this medicine (yeah I know then the doctor would have to prescribe it). What can we expect to pay annually if we buy it w/o seeing a doctor?

Yes it is dangerous to start any medication without first consulting with a physician to see if there is an underlying cause to his problem. He could have an enlarged prostrate or something else.

And I would never ever consider ordering Viagra or any other drug from an online company nor would I ever consult with an online pharmacist / physician to order any drug.

There are counterfeit drugs and you never know what they are made of.

Most insurance companies will pay for Viagra type medications and the cost should be your coins, whether it be $10 - $50 per each script filled.

I'm 52 and I can associate with some of your problems. What I tried (on my own and without any provocation from my wife) was Extenze which is a herbal supplement and can be found on eBay as well as your local Walmart. It claims to "increase your size, enhance pleasure and performance, and improve your sex life. The only noticeable effect I've noticed is that it HAS improved our sex life. I don't know whether it's psychological or physical but I have felt the urge more often. Yes, being horny has returned! LOL I have also noticed that I wake up with an erection about four times a night (and no, I am not exaggerating). So it may be something worth looking into. And one more benefit, it's cheaper than Viagra.
