Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you have been on birth control pill for the first time and have been sexually active during first month of the birth control use, then chances of pregnancy cannot be ruled out. Since you skipped your periods by continuous use of the hormonal pills, you can have hormonal disturbances which could have resulted in breakthrough bleeding/spotting. Your normal periods/withdrawal bleeding can get delayed. Wait and watch for your periods, if you suspect to be pregnant, look out for development of any other new symptoms suggestive of early pregnancy. Visit your doctor/gynecologist for further evaluation and assistance.
I have been on the pill for about 2 years. this is the first time i used my BC to skip my period. now another thing that i did forget to mention is, on the final week of my pack (3rd week, the one before the suqar pills) i miss 2 days straight of pills (at the end of the week) so as soon as i remember i took one pill then one later on. and i did the same the day after. so on friday i took 2 pills and saturday i took 2 pills. so im thinkin i just screwed up my cycle. i mean i am having the cramping and lower back pains like i did before i start my period. also i did have spotting for about 4-5 days just like i was told i would on the week after i skipped my period. (so on the 2nd week od the 2nd pack used)
i hope all that made sense
