It seems that your daughter has a case of urticaria or hives.
It is a group of disorders affecting adults and children, in which red patches and weals occur in the skin. This skin rash can be accompanied with swelling on any part of the body including the face, lips, tongue, throat or ears, too.
Urticaria that appears daily or almost daily for at least six weeks or more, is known as chronic urticaria and its trigger usually isn't an allergen and a identifiable cause for the problem is rarely found (often due to autoimmune disease, associated with other autoimmune conditions, like lupus, thyroiditis, celiac disease).
I think your daughter is suffering from a physical urticaria, a type of urticaria induced by external physical influences.
Some people suffer from a mixture of different types of physical urticaria and generalized urticaria (she may have Aquagenic urticaria or reaction to water; Cholinergic, reaction to body heat, such as when exercising or after a hot shower, and, Heat urticaria, with reaction to hot food or objects.
Best wishes!
