Q: allergy or infection?

my boyfriend and i have recently started using spermicidal condoms. since then, i have had a terrible itch around the surface of my vagina, as well as around the clitoris, urethra, etc, where some of the spermicide has fallen onto as well.
is it more likely that i have an allergy to spermicide or that i have a yeast infection or UTI?
