doctor,does this inflammation bring about lips appearing red? what are the causes of red lips?

Allergic rhinitis, is allergic reaction to some allergens that have been breathed in, leading to runny, itchy nose, sneezing, stuffy nose, watery eyes, itchy eyes, mouth, throat, coughing, headache.
Due to mouth breathing (stuffy nose), lips become dry and red (red lips isn't allergic reaction in this scenario).
