I have been prescribed ALDARA cream for VAIN 3. My lesions are recurrent, i've have laser, wide local excision surg, for VAIN 3 and 6 months later its back. My dr recommended aldara vaginally 2x week for 12 weeks. I've tried to research online, Aldara's usage in treating this, but can find very little information. Nearly all the information i can find is negative experiences from women who are suffering from side effects of Aldara cream. Is there anyone out there that has used this cream vaginally and NOT had side effects? Also, is there anyone out there that can tell me your experiences with aldara? Are there studies involving aldara vaginally on the internet anywhere? I just cant seem to find information concerning aldara's use vaginally.

Aldara may also have post-market things that it does help with. (Sort of like Benadryl to help you sleep, its not a sleep aid, but sometimes its prescribed as one in mild cases of insomnia.) Which is why your doctor may have prescribed Aldara to you. The site goes over how many times a week you should use Aldara, depending on your symptoms. Side effects are wide, the most common being local skin reactions. Call your doctor concerning how often you should use Aldara.
