I married with childern and i have been with my wife for 7 years and only my wife. I live a party life style before i might my wife and had a couple of one night stands, i recently found out that one of the person i was with has aids,my question is that i got tested for hiv before i married my wife. I did 1 month,3 month and 6 month testing everything was negative. do i have to worry about having aids, the test was about 2 years after been with that person. can it show up later in life even if you tested negative and lived a clean life style.

Extremely eHealthy
In most of the cases, a six months period after possible risky contact is enough for the infection to be found by tests.
There are only three cases (health-care workers)in clinical practice, which seroconversion (process of developing specific anti HIV antibodies) took longer time than 6 months, and they tested HIV positive within 12 months after exposure.

There is no need to worry!
