Hi,
I am a 3rd year university student studying Product Design. I am currently doing an assignment on the disabled.

As both my parents are polio sufferers, I have decided to look at specific aids for polio victims.

I would be grateful if you could please furnish me with feedback as to what aids you use in your day to day life to help you
move around more easily and what they need help with.

I wish to offer a service or design a product which is not available in the market as yet from the feedback I receive.

I would be greatful if you could let me know what equiptment you use and what the advantages and disadvantages of the products are.
What would you like to see in the market to aid you in your everyday life.

Thank you in advance

My dad had polio as a child and it affected the muscles in his upper body and hands. Because of the polio he is now loosing the use of his hands. The muscles are deteriorating and his hands are getting weaker and weaker. He will soon be at the point where he will no longer have the use of his hands. I am looking for something out there that can help him to retain the use of his hands.
