ok, never done this b 4 but what the hell. I am 38 and engaged to a 24 yr old.(she has a 2 yr old and am great friends w her daddy) I know alot of guys like this. I have a hard time dealing with the "girlfriends" glance as most are cheaters, drunks, etc. I was married for 12 years previously way b 4 us. our age difference "hobbies/lifestyles" are very differant. She seems very loyal, but i have seen her drunk off her ass and "blacked out" this usually happens around the "girlfriends". I love her. very much. but I am starting to feel like I could be holding her back from her life. Basically. I want to hear some stories from similar guys exp. and how they turned out before I commit to this young girl. Im not worried about my loyalty. I raised plenty hell in my life. Im past that. Im worried about hers. lets hear it fellas.

For me Im with someone who is 9 years younger.
We meet approx 10 years ago and now Im 42.

It really depends on the person, even though we
have an age difference and have absolutely nothing
in common my partner seems to think on the same level
as my age so does not seem to be an issue.
I do not believe I have held her back as she has
always wanted to be around me more than her friends,
I actually force her to go out with her old school and uni friends.

There are just some people attracted to older people and you will never change that.

Play the loving boyfriend but also let her lead her own life which is what anyone in a relationship should do.
