Q: mono causing allergies to medications ?

I had Mono about 2 years ago. Of course they gave me amoxcillin for streph throat and I of course broke out in a rash. I understand that I should not take any Amoxcillin's ever again. However, I now am allergic to Diflunican(red welts on my face after 1 pill), reaction to the flu shot, hot flashes & throat tightening to Avelox & steriods??

Not sure if I am allergic or having a sensitivity? Could having Mono change my body to be more allergic?
