Tuesday i took a AFP screening and yesterday it came back positive the doctor said that it was negative for down syndrome but positive for spine bifida. I was wondering how is this possible when two weeks prior to this apt i had an ultrasound where they check the babies spine brain and nasal passage an assured me everything was developing fine?. what can change in two weeks to make this test positive?
