I am looking for advice for my daughter. She was in hospital recently where she was diagnosed with gallstones and an inflamed gallbladder. She has to return in 2 or 3 months for surgery, but has to lose some weight first. She is still experiencing pain and nausea - how much housework can she expect to be able to do? How 'easy' should she be taking things?

Thanks.

Hi Teresa,

Thanks for the tips. My daughter is discovering herself what foods trigger her pain and nausea. The gp advised her to eat sensibly and she has lost some weight, mainly through not eating very much, but she hasn't been told how much she needs to lose.
