asked by: DoctorQuestion on January 27th, 2009
About 2 weeks ago there was like a flue bug going around and I had a low fever with vomiting, nausea, bad stomach cramps & diareah, this lasted aprox. 24 hours and I was fine. Now when I eat I feel realy bloated (upper part of stomach) with gas and nausea feeling. I also have a constant gnawing feeling in upper part of stomach that won't go away. Can you help.

Given the data you provided, your gastrointestinal tract might still be upset. Although the infection has already disappeared, a very light inflammation might still be present. Be patient, take food that is easily digested, do not take too much food. Avoid beverages and carbohydrated drinks.
