When I was 18 (1998), I had my first grand-mal seizure, I had a sickening feeling of Dejavu, and then I woke up on the floor. My sister told me that I had the seizure. I had an MRI, which was normal, but my EEG was abnormal.

I was on Lamictin for 4 years. I then, with the consent of my doctor, decided to go off meds. I was off meds for 6 years, and I never has any problems, but my EEG was still abnormal

I had a baby last year, and decided to get myself checked out, just for her safety (G-d forbid I had an accident with her) and it turns out that my EEG is still off the charts.

So the doctor has put me back on Lamictin - which didn't change my EEG, so then we tried Epilim, which has had an effect.

My issue is, that I have been fine for 6 years, and now all of a sudden I am back on meds, for the "in case" something goes wrong. I never wanted to be on the meds in the first place.

I think I am just wanting someone to tell me I am doing the right thing!!! I am just so frustrated!!!
