Dear Doctor-

I have been having a terrible time falling asleep at night, just as I am about to doze off, I get an awful pain in my chest and I wake up with these rushes of adrenalin in my body. It only happens as I am just about to fall asleep this rush or something comes over me I get a severe sharp pain in my chest as if my heart has stopped beating and wakes me up with a shock. I'm not sure what it is but its keeping me up all night. Any ideas? Have you heard of such a thing?
