Hi I am 21 years old and ever since January.. I have been having quite a few issues. It started with a pain-filled night in which I had severe pain in my abdomen and became constipated shortly after. I have been thinking it was IBS because I have had all the symptoms for it. Recently, I have noticed on both sides of my hips just beneath them.. two hard masses (when I flex) and then when I don't flex, they turn rubbery. These are located kind of where my ovaries should be. I have had abdominal fullness along with distention in my abdomen and pelvic region and my periods have become irregular to where they are lighter than normal.. granted I have been on birth control for about a year. Could this be caused by an adnexal mass or something? Also, I have had weird fluctuations in weight. I have lost weight unintentionally. Help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Birth control pills can cause hormonal imbalance. If you are experiencing pain in your pelvic region, I suggest you see your doc and get an ultrasound done to confirm if you have a cyst.
