Hi there,
My 19 year old son has adhd ans asperger's. He just finished his first year of college. He came off all of his meds in April, and is so "zoned out" now, it's driving me crazy!
He has found religion, and thinks that God can heal him of his depression.
I have bipolar, depression and anxiety, and I am a Christian, but I know that God can't heal everything all of the time.
Help! Would being so out of it and tired all the time a result of his not taking meds, or the way in which he did it?
Thanks!

Hello, Im 23 and I suffer from Severe ADHD. I am also a Christian. I do believe that God does have healing powers to heal. However please tell your son that God made all of us different and even though we would all like to believe that God heals all sometimes Modern medicine does have to step in and help us along they way as we walk in God's way. There are many christian's on medication... God Bless...

Hi there! Thanks for responding. We found out a few weeks ago that my son suffered a psychotic break. His former therapist said that it may have happened anyway, even if he hadn't come off his meds.
His pdoc put him on an anti-psychotic medication, and we just increased it a little bit.
Are you in college? He is in college, but we aren't sure if he is going back, or will go to school locally.
Take care,
M.
