Q: addicted to Vicodin ?

i started to use painkillers ( vicodinVicodin
Vicodin tuss and percocetPercocet 10/650 ) 4 months ago... i took them because they gave me a high sensation. and i took 1 pill every one or 2 days... but i just realised that I'm addicted when i tried to stop taking them and i started having withdrals and sleepingSleeping difficulty problems...
What can I do to stop it? the last pill i took was monday ( jan 5th )... and idk how long i can last without help
i don't even know if i'm really addicted to them or everything is in my mind

it's definitely not just in your mind if you are going through withdrawals. sounds like you have developed a physical dependence, whether you are addicted or not is determined by your success in quiting. if you cannot stop and stay away from any mind altering substances, then by definition you are addicted.

if your withdrawal symptoms become worse, you should go to the nearest detox or ER. they can help you feel better on your way off, and can suggest ways to stay stopped.

consider attending a few 12 step meetings to understand the disease of addiction. many people get clean with the help of support groups.
