Hi. I'm a 23 yr old female...and I know that I"m addicted to adderall. I also know it will probably be the end of me. I've OD'd 4 times in the past 3 weeks. And its so hard...to lie to the doctors and tell them I don't know whats wrong. I quit once, and put on 100lbs...and I'm obssesssed with getting perfect grades...the drug makes me perfect. I think I'd rather die then live life substandard. I think I need help.

Sadly I Say "Welcome To Our Family"
I know you need help. No question about it. Unfortunatly adderal is one of the worst. And I am also afraid you are beyound what (in my opinion) anyone on this board is going to be able to help you with. You Have Got to get help right away.
If you have insurance I would suggest you check yourself in right now. I know you are in college, but your health has got to come first in order to finish and have a successful future. You may miss a month but, I am sure there is some way your can make that up. I am assuming you have ADD. Adderal has runied the lives of many people. Has killed many people. I say get clean and perhaps seek an alternative treatment. You have got to get off it ASAP. Having a death wish is not the answer. You must have a plan for you future or you would not be in school. Please! Do something! If you do not, then you have no future.

We are here for you, no matter what happens. But please stop this horrific drug if you don't have ADD and just are doing it for a high the I say stop with whatever it takes. If you do have ADD, then you have probably been having to increase you dose for that high. It's only going to get worse. Please, you have already admitted you have a problem and that is the first step (asking for help). Now it is time to do something about it. Do it! You have a futrue to think about and what about your family? They love you I am sure. I think they would be lost without you around. Also you are part of our family too now and now you are in our house. You will be treated with compassion and love. Please, your life is well worth it girl.
