My son and his wife suspected all along. But, they finally took the 5 year old to be evaluated and they were right. I just fell terrible over this. I dread the thought of him having to be on medication for it. Especially Adderal. I also lean toward having since childhood.

as a child I was diagnosed with ADHD and was on adderall and other stimulants for Ten years and they really destroyed that creative funny side of me almost as if I were sedated. The good news is that there is a relatively new stimulant called Vyvanse that works like adderall but it is a pro-drug and lasts 16 hours and works much better than adderall with less drastic side effects and works very well with children and your doctor can give you a coupon to try a one month perscription for free.
