Well the DSM say that the symptoms of Bipolar shoud be there before the age of seven.
Although I think that Pro Barkely, (well known all over the world for his ADHD work) - and who is currently writing/sorting out the new catagory for Adult Bipolar for DSM-V which is due out 2011 or 2012.
I note that he is putting in that the symptoms of ADHD need to be present before adolsence. Thus accepting a latte date of onset. One of the problems of diagnosing adult ADHD and finding just when it started is it relies on memory. So not easy.
Yes I may or may not be something else. This is for your medical practioner to decide. However, I doubt ADHD. There are more to the symptoms than what you state above.
It may or may not be a symptoms of menapause. I understand that memory problems can occur.
