I am currently in my sophmore year of college and I really try to do good but when I get to the class I just cant pay attention and I don't feel motivated or study for my tests? I spend most of my time in my room just watching tv or on the computer, do I possible have ADD/ADHD since I am not able to concentrate in school even though I really wan't to? Is there something I can do to combat this?

hey
yeah, i seem to have the same problem. I'm not sure if it is ADHD because my brother has it. He takes ritalin and once my mom gave me one to see if it had any effect on me, to see if i would feel better. I went to school and was completely wired and hated it. I am in my first year of college (put if off til I was 21) and I NEVER study. I do my homework, I do things that need to be done. When my prof. give lectures where notes aren't required I find myself taking notes anyways because I won't remember what he said. I can't keep anything organized. I find myself watching t.v. and messing with the internet most of the time too. Even if i turn everything off and try to study i start getting really antsy like, for some reason my brain needs more stimulation. It may possibly be ADD. I've just never been properly diagnosed. I'm smart, school just bores me. I'm usually a C average student and can't seem to do better.
