Hello. I went to the clinic on 10/02/08 and tested for STDs and Rapid HIV test. I got the result for Rapis HIV test on the same day and was told NEGATIVE. When I called back for the STDs results I was told to call back again on Friday for Acute HIV test result which I dont remember taking....

Now I am so worried that maybe I was positive for rapid test so the doc is testing HIV test again. It was a free clinic and little unreliable. Thats because they gave my rapid HIV result to somebody else!!!(which was my friend) You know they call you with numbers before you hear the results and my friend went to hear it on my numbers(by mistakes) I was horrified if i was positive and she heard that before me..... anyway, the doc was horrified too when she found out that she gave my result to my friend. She told me that I needed to see another doc again for something. I wasnt sure why I had to wait after I got results and tested for everything so I asked another nurse to check my files and the nurse said "you are all set." so my friend and I left.
When I called back for results about my STDs I was told it came out All negatives but still need to call back for HIV result on Fri. Then I told the representive that I took Rapid HIV test. SHe said," i know. but its a different hiv test."

I had no worries about getting HIV before,because i only had one partner and he is negative. Now im getting tested for second HIV test(which pplsayits for finding out How many virus in your blood) Im sooo worried.

By the way, my friend was not told to call back for another HIV test.
