Active monitoring after clear biopsy ?

Mammogram showed what may be small cyst. Went for ultrasound which resulted in core biopsy. Today consultant said it was clear and wanted a scan in the next 2 weeks. But he said he would be having a discussion with radiologist tomorrow and would call me at home. he gave me a piece of paper to take out to appointments and it was ticked at active monitoring/watchful waiting. I am just a bit confused if it is clear what does he have to discuss and the active monitoring/watchful waiting what does this mean.
