I was recently diagnosed with Acid Reflux, and as instructed by my doctor, began taking Aciphex - a 20mg tablet every day.
This is where my concern begins.
I began to have unbearable pain in the rib area and near the diaphragm. I had a fever in one instance, and had to run to the bathroom on more than one occasion. All the pain induces anxiety-like attacks, which only further my pains.
I do maintain a healthy diet, and drink plenty of water.
It hasn't been more than a week since I began the medication, and I've tried asking for my doctor's help, but haven't gotten any questions answered.
What I'd like to know is if these are symptoms known to be associated with Aciphex. Is this what I should expect as my body adjusts to the medication?

Extremely eHealthy
Have you been experiencing frequent bowel movements?

There are plenty of side effects that can be related to Aciphex use.
It can cause diarrhea, abdominal pain, chest pain, and even anxiety, as in your case.
Talk with your health provider about these symptoms.
