It started yesterday and is worse today. Have tried Aspercreme, pain pills, and calcium tablets. After a nap today, the pain was gone for about 5 minutes when it started again. I found one painfree position which is extending my arm upward.
I read your question and i understand your concern. Its good that pain subsides with pills and posture adjustments. Continue physiotherapy exercises and rest for a while and take supportive pain killers. If the pain persists for a week, get evaluated for the likely cause other than muscle spasm.
