my cousin lives in mexico and her son of 12 has had symtoms of reumatoid arthritis and possible lupus. he does have aching bones and there seems to be no medicine that can calm his pain. along with a recent sympton her son has been getting spots all over his body that come a little every day. today he now has them on his face. she says that they are itchy and uncomrfortable and feels tired and is not able to sleep both because of the spots and because he can't sleep.

she has seen specialist and first they thought it was lupus than reumatoid arthritis now they are doing more study because they are unaware of what it could be. please something I can give her so she can tell her doctors

Hello and welcome to e health forum.

From the description provided it seems that your nephew might have an exacerbation of his underlying condition , Rheumatoid arthritis or lupus.

He might benefit by consulting a rheumatologist who can prescribe immunosuppressive medications that might reduce the severity of his pain.
