Hey there. KK so I had un-protected sex with a girl about 4 months ago. I'm un-aware if she has anything but later on I noticed a dark purple-ish blue patch of skin. It seemed slightly raised and sorta bumpy but it didnt hurt or itch in any way. Eventually probably about a week - week and a half later it dissapeared. I was totally scared that it might be herpes. Still am, but no spots like that have ever returned. About a week or 2 ago i noticed tiny tiny red bumps at the bottom of my shaft. I popped one of em' to see what would happen, what came out was like a tiny white ball of pus that was solid. Immediately it started to bleed and I washed my hands and didn't touch anything, that I know of.. The bumps are still there, very less visible. I dont have any pain or itchyness around the bumps. The thing thats scaring me the most is that for the past month and a half I have this ache on the right side of my penis that comes and goes, mostly when im stressed or un-comfortable it hurts the most. The pain is right where the dark patch was. Like I said thats the only pain I feel. I get the ODD itch on random spots but its ever so tiny, barely itchy atall, i'm guessing the itches are only from my boxers or something. Please help me out here, I havent been to a doctor yet. But I'm scared cause I have a girlfriend and I really don't want it to be herpes and then have to tell her. Thanks

You should see a doctor. However, all signs really do point to herpes. Herpes is actually a very common sexually transmitted disease. Use condoms always! There is no alternative. Once you get into the habit it could still be sexually pleasurable. There are condoms that you can buy that can actually increase sensuality during sex. Also, herpes is spread through skin to skin contact so after an outbreak you should wait until it is completely healed and use condoms to minimize the risk of getting your girlfriend infected. Obviously, you will be more prone to HIV infection because of the recurring sores that may or may not reappear (depends on the immuno-response of your body). It's not the end of the world. Get diagnosed. If it is Herpes, don't sweat it and be honest (especially with yourself). Also, research Herpes online for yourself to familiarize yourself with the virus. More importantly, seek the advice of a doctor. It's the only way you'll know for sure and you will feel better once you do. Best of luck dude.
