Hi. I am in China, and the doctor diagnosed me with gout (my first attack) in my ankle. The Uric index was 553 instead of the expected range of 147-420, whatever the units were. He has prescribed aceclofenac, which almost instantly provides pain relief, but I feel it is not actually getting rid of the gout, just masking the pain. I have had the gout for 6 days now. Is aceclofenac actually for gout??
