Q: Accurate diagnosis ?

I think I may have some sort of STD. It could be genital warts but it doesn't look like any of the pictures I've seen. I scheduled an appointment with a doctor who specializes in "family medicine". Is this doctor going to be able to give me an accurate diagnosis? I don't visit the doctor EVER and I don't really know the difference between an internal medicine doctor and a family medicine doctor.

Family doctor with general practice should be able to confirm diagnosis of genital warts.
If you are in doubt about your GP, you can see a doctor or nurse at a genitourinary medicine(GUM) clinic, or at a sexual health clinic.

How do the growths look like?
Where are they located exactly?
