Accidentaly swallowed ribbon

I have swallowed a small ribbon that is very important (don't ask). I think it is made of silk or polyester. I have a few questions as I really want it back. Will my stomach dissolve it? If not, when will it 'pass through' my body? I have tried making myself sick but can't.

Ive never had a problem like this before so i dont know what info will be relevant, but i am a 17yo male, i haven't gone to the toilet today, i last ate at 4 o'clock ..
