Q: Accelerating Alzheimer's ?

I feel that the continuous acceptance of lies or untrue situations for social, political or selfdefence reasons, has a negative influence to the brain's neurons whcich are forced to overwork for justifying unjustified situations.
This could eventually lead in their death or damage and accelerate the Alzheimer's desease sitution.
Is there any research on this idea ?
