I'm 17 and use to masturbate every couple of days.
I met a nice girl lately and have stopped masturbating.
I has been over 2 months since I last masturbated.
I have never had a wet dream in my life and this continues to stay true.
It's not that I'm trying not the masturbate, it's just that I don't feel like it anymore. I did it for a challenge for like 2 days, and then I just didn't feel the urge to do it. Just feels like a waste of time now.
However my friend said masturbation was good for you and if you don't do it, there will be downsides.
What happens if I continue to abstain from masturbation?

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Abstaining masturbation has no harm and , rather avoiding it in first place is wise as it helps and assures of a healthy and better coitus. Dont listen to the misleading friends. We recommend abstinence and if not possible frequency of no more than once a week

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
