I'm 18 years old, have never missed a period/been late-they have always been between 3 and 4 weeks like clockwork always up until june. Havent had one since the beginning of june (its now august 1st). I have recently had severe cramping/nausea (which I don't usually get with periods) followed by a couple spots of blood and that was it. Slight weight gain but not enough for me to think it would interrupt menstration. Pregnancy seems like the obvious answer but I havent had sex/been sexually active in close to a year. any ideas?

How has you diet been lately? Eating poorly effects the cycle. The only reason I point to that first is that you said you've had a little weight gain. Also, sometimes weight gain causes a change up in cycle.

Are you stressed at all? This happened to me when I was INCREDIBLY stressed one summer. Stress also contributes to poor eating habits also.

Lastly, are you on any form of birth control?
