Q: About the Heart

New User, Becoming EHEALTHy
Uhmmm I think I may be int he wrong site for this but I will try it here anyway. I'm doing human biology in school and currently on the topic of heart, blood vessels, cells etc etc...almost all to do with the transport of blood and major body structures.
I have come across a question I would like the answer to and I could not figure it out by myself so far and I am absoloutly hopeless at searching on the internet for any answers I tend to end up more lost than I started out originally.
The question is because the heart muscle cannot receive sufficient oxygen from the four chambers and the thickness of the muscle does not allow diffusion of materials, how does the heart muscle get the required oxygen in order to keep everything in order??
Someone pleease answer I'd be grateful and appreciate it to no end.
Sorry if I'm in the wrong place to be asking this question.

hi there, you might want to click on the ask a doctor button as they may be able to help. have you thought of going to your local library and reading a medical book? this might be the best place. there may be some educational websites too that teach you about the heart

hope you get the answers you require Smile
