I worry a lot. I just recently got pregnant again and I don't want to lose another one. I am going to probably ask this tons of times, but the last few times that I was I never got this big and I carried one til 2 months and the other til 2 1/2. I am only 4 weeks on the 31st of July I will be 5 weeks on the 7th. rainbow

This is me a little over a month ago

This is me on 7.25.2008

This is me 7.31.2008

And this is me 8.3.2008, standing in all of these

This is also me 8.3.2008, but I was sitting so it looks a little bigger.

I am only 4 weeks and a few days pregnant. Is it okay for it to be that big? And be hard? I know I have been told over and over again that it is bloating. And it is but is still showing I am prego no matter what anyone says. No negative things on this! I get nervous so I will probably post a lot of pictures and keep asking questions. I have lost two to miscarriage already, it is understandable. I weighted about 112 lbs a month ago and I have gained 10lbs. I am sure that it is just water and bloat weight, but I have never heard anyone gain that much.

Do you bloat more if you have twins or more?
Can I be almost ready to show if it is twins?
Can I show faster if it is my third pregnancy?

I know it is not my baby showing. I am just looking for some answers.

I looked about like that at 4-5 weeks. Its bloat, and water weight. It goes away after a couple months and then you start getting a baby belly.

No matter how many times you've been pregnant, or how many you have in there, you would not show this early. It is bloat. I had it worse then you. Don't worry your bump will come soon. It goes by fast, It seems like just yesterday I was 4 weeks, and now I'm 22 weeks. Smile

I'm not going to comment on your belly because I think you have enough responses on that already, but from your pictures, I noticed that the curve of your back is more pronounced than it should be. I don't know if this is because of the camera angle or because you are trying to take a decent picture of yourself, which is understandably difficult.

If your back really is arched this much, your back is going to have a hard time with the strain of the extra weight of a pregnancy. Try to tilt your pelvic bones upward in the front and flatten your back. If you try to do this every day from now on, your muscles will be a little stronger in the front and your back won't be strained as much. Take it from someone who knows Smile

You could have five babies in there and still not be showing. Your baby is extremely small right now, and your uterus is still tucked behind your pubic bone. Twins/multiples do not cause bloating.

The hardness is bloating - and bloating is normal. It's not a sign of miscarriage, but it IS a reminder that you need to increase the amount of water you're drinking, and reduce the sodium (salt) in your diet. Some light exercise will also help, like walking or swimming. Doing these things (plus time) will help reduce the bloat.

Just a curious question - and please feel free to ignore it if it offends you - but you've been pregnant three times at 16? That seems a little excessive. Were you using birth control?

It's probably just your belly bloating.

You can also start taking pictures wearing a shirt if you'd like, just a suggestion, it doesn't really matter.

You won't be showing for a little while.

What concerns me most is that you are so young and have had this many pregnancies. Why? Have you been to the doctor yet? If you have not, then you need to see one ASAP (not for the bloating!) to make sure everything is ok with your pregnancy.

Have you had testing to reason why you've had multiple miscarriages?

I think you need to find a new topic to post about. You gotten a ton of responses. Its bloating. Also as for the pics, its easy to take pics in clothing, and I don't see how the top two pics depict anything to do with the topic.

Chronic stomach problems? Are you being considered high risk? What does the doctor say about this pregnancy?

How long ago were the other pregnancies? When did you begin the Depo? What does your doctor say about being on Depo and being pregnant? Are there any concerns or precautions?

(Ok, I just read your profile and got my answer:
"This is my third time being pregnant in the past 18 months")

When did you begin the Depo? What does your doctor say about being on Depo and being pregnant? Are there any concerns or precautions?

How did you know to test so early? Usually women don't have their periods on the depo shot so missing your period would not have been a clue and only being 4 weeks pregnant when you found out is early even for someone who has missed a period.

I haven't seen anyone say you aren't pregnant, is someone in your personal life doubting you?

I can appreciate the fact that you are nervous, but you keep posting the same questions over and over again, and you are getting the same answers over and over again. How is that helping you? Do you not believe the answers you've been getiting?

Is it the same man that got you pregnant all 3 times? The reason I ask is, there is a theory about multiple miscarriages that says it may have something to do with a similarity in the genetic background of the man and woman.

I hope you can relax soon, so you can be happy about the pregnancy.

Two with one guy and one with another.
I am asking the same question.
But I am not looking for answers.
I want opinions.
On what I should be doing.
I have said it multiple times
I am not being rude
I am just saying.

I will say this: YOU NEED TO GO TO A DOCTOR if you haven't already. Especially considering your history with miscarriage.

I test every two weeks. The test said positive and I went to the doctors the next day. They said I was in fact pregnant.

I hope your doctor is monitoring you closely since your pregnancies are establishing a pattern. Your doctor and nurse will be more than happy to take your telephone calls if you are at all worried about your pregnancy (like your stomach pooch, etc). It is their job and thats what they are there for.
