Q: Abortion pills working ?

I had my medical today. Took 2 pills orally at 9am and experienced only slight, completely bearable cramps. Took a further 2 pills orally at midday and started to bleed at around 1pm. It is now 8pm; i've had cramps which have been like very bad period pains but nothing more, and i'm constantly bleeding. Small clots if anything at all. Should I have to wait this long? Could it take longer and what are the chances of me having to go back and repeat this procedure again? I am already full of anxiety and worry and really thought the pregnancy would have passed by now. Any help very much appreciated xx

I'm having small clots but haven't seen anything distinctive.

I'll just go to my GP. Thanks for all the help..

At this stage the embryo is too small to be seen by the naked eye. Depending on exactly how early along in your pregnancy you are, it may have already passed in the midst of the blood and tissue *clots* you've already seen.

there is really no distinction between the fetal tissue/egg or any other clots that come out. and the tissue is so small you won't see it. for me the cramps lasted for two days- intensely painful for me but it varies from person to person. and the bleeding lasted for 11 days. and then it took 7 weeks for me to have another period
