I will not put in my two piece unless asked for it but I have to know, what do you think of this?

It's certainly bizarre and I'm having difficulty visualizing the casual attitudes and the alleged party itself. I've often seen prochoicers joke about having abortion parties in response to overblown accusations from prolifers, but I've never actually heard of anyone having one before. The closest thing I've heard of was the woman having a couple of drinks with friends afterwards to celebrate the ordeal being over and done with.

I thought the writer made some interesting points but I'm really finding the party itself difficult to believe. I also can't agree with someone allowing a small child to be in the middle of ANY sort of adult party. That's just irresponsible parenting.

The "party" seems to have been a fundraising event. It wasn't a "celebration", although it does seem a bit tasteless. (But then, I think baby showers are tacky.)

What I thought was odd was the attitude to the male involved.
