Q: Abortion pain ?

I am roughly 6 and 1/2 weeks pregnant and will have an abortion this week. I have picked Planned Parenthood because I thought it would be a safe place to go to, however, I am scared about the procedure. I'm opting for a surgical abortion. Does anyone else have experienced with PP? Their website said they offer sedation, but I do not know what kind. Does it knock you out? What are some of the experiences you have with PP? The one I am getting it done at is located in the Dallas area.

From what I have read here, PP doesnt seem like they offer IV sedation. I'm pretty nervous about the pain.

I just randomly came across your post. I know nothing about getting an abortion, and can only offer you my best wishes. You sound pretty nervous, which is understandable. I hope nobody gives you any flack for your decision, because I'm sure it's not an easy one. It's between you, your body, and God. (In my opinion) So what business do I have commenting? None, I just want to wish you well.
