Hi, I am a virgin and intend to stay one until i get married. My boyfriend and I never had intercouse but we were fooling around last month, my vagina came into contact with his semen and the next thing i know, I m pregnant. I want to go for abortion, my question is which abortion method should i chose, coz i would like to remain a virgin until I have had actual intercourse with my husband. Is there an abortion method that could save my virginity, coz i would very much like to not lose my viriginity this way. Please reply.Thankyou

If you are taking about breaking your hymen through abortion, that's an arbitrary measure of virginity. Hymens break on their own, from tampons, gynecological exams, etc.

Many people would consider getting pregnant the way you did to be a loss of virginity. Virginity is a state of mind, not just if you've ever had a penis in your vagina. You are still exposing yourself to all the STDs and pregnancy (obviously). You are still experiencing the emotions that go with sex.

Are you having the abortion because you want to or because you want to preserve your virginity? The second would really be for the wrong reason. Really think about why you are so set on preserving your virginity and ask yourself if having an abortion is consistent with your values. If you do it for the wrong reasons, you may regret it for the rest of your life. Just be sure.
