Hi,

My current girlfriend of several months, who is perfect for me and I'm deeply in love with, dropped a bombshell on me last night telling me that she had an abortion in the past. We've had the past relationship talk and hearing about the guys she has dated doesn't ever bother me. She was dating a guy who was cheating on her and he got her and the other girl pregnant and she elected to have an abortion. She didn't love the guy or want to have a child with him so she felt that this was the best option for her. I don't know if it's the fact that another guy got her pregnant or it's the abortion that is bothering me, but I've been sitting around trying to figure it out. I don't even know if it is really bothering me that much because I know the past is the past and everybody has one. I love this girl and plan to marry and don't want this in the back of my mind all the time cause I'm one of those people who tend to obsess over things. I don't want this to get in the way of our relationship because I truly love and care for this girl.

If anyone out there as been in a similar situation or can simply shed some knowledge about how to handle this, it would be greatly appreciated.
