Hello all . I would like to introduce myself. My name is Ernesto and i'm 23 in a realationship with my girlfriend for about 6 months now . I am going crazy here....I have been with my girlfriend for 6 six months now but have known her for years.. she got pregnate and we found out in august she was 2months and a half. well she went to the doctor in mid august to get a check up because she was sick for a long time. Turns out that she had an infection that the pregnacy caused so she went to the gyno a day later. supposdly she had a "surgical procedure " to test for cancer and other things. SHE told me they had to scrape some tissues from her inside to check for this and that she could not have sex for a week and would be bleeding for a few days...umm, i'm sorry but to me it sounds like she had an abortion and it just so happens that on the 2nd after this, she lifts something heavy and tells me a lot of blood came out. she thought she had a miscarriage and goes to the doctor *not gyno* 4 days later and they tell her it doesn't look good but that she has to follow up with her gyno. this sounds very fishy to me and i want to believe her but my gut is telling me a differnt story. how can i find out for sure ? could she talk to her doctor and tell her to talk to me about her medical history ??? this is eating me up and i've been having nightmares.. please help.

i love her so much but the story just doesn't seem right.... she went to the gyno to check for cancer and such and she comes out with CRAMPS for a few days and is bleeding for a few days as well ? can't have sex for a week and it just so happens that she thinks she had a miscarriage.... IS THERE a procedure that makes you bleed and cramp for days !??!?!? I've never heard of it ..... sad2

Hmmm. I'm not too sure what to tell you here. Have you talked to her about your "doubts"? After a surgical abortion, you should not have sex for 2-4 weeks. (not one week). In fact, you shouldn't put anything "inside" including tampons.

Her story does sound a little strange, though. What kind of "infection" could she have gotten from pregnancy? And they don't do a "surgical procedure" to check for cancer, but you can bleed a tiny bit. And is she claiming that lifting something heavy caused her miscarriage? What did the doctor say about this "infection"? Is she on antibiotics for it?

I wish I could help you more, but you really need to sit down with your girlfriend and talk about all of this with her.

perhaps she wasnt careful. it isnt good, as everyone says, for pregnant women to carry heavy things or do heavy work. and miscarriages could happen any time.
